The RolenThis is a position that will require a flexible test technician who possesses experience in both the assembly and test of electromechanical machinery.
The work will include the following:nAssemble and testing of machinerynWorking from technical engineering drawings including schematicsnUse of hand-held and computerised test equipmentnGood working knowledge of PLC’s from fault finding to the ability to update programsnRight first time build and test processes to achieve and improve product throughput.
The CandidatenTo apply for this role, you mustn1. HNC /level 4 (previous experience will be considered)in Engineering based subject i.e. Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineeringn2. Experience working within an Electromechanical manufacturing environment with Process improvement understanding i.e. Lean manufacturing, 5sn3. Familiarity with test and measurement equipment i.e. DVM’s, oscilloscopes, Vernier’s and micrometers.n4. Minimum qualifications of A-C level in Maths, English and a Science based
