Are you looking for a contract Desktop Support Engineer role in financial services?

This is initial 6 month contract paying 25.71/ hour (1.5 for weekends and BH) inside IR35. The role is onsite in central London on a shift rotation basis 7am-7pm Monday to Friday.

Main Duties:

- Provide English language support to colleagues across SMBC
EMEA Region with awareness of and consideration to differing
cultures and/or languages.
- Provide cover to SMBC IT support contact number, answering calls,
creating tickets, and escalating as required.

- Administer various IT environment (i.e. PC build and configuration,
Application software, SCCM, Printing)
- Liaise, coordinate and monitor the escalation to 3rd level support
groups.
- Provide primary support to SMBC’s video conferencing
environment.
- Perform daily checks of SMBC’s office printer environment, logging
tickets and escalating to 3rd level resolver groups when exceptions
are identified.
- Perform daily checks of SMBC's conference and meetings rooms
(including VTC rooms), logging tickets and escalating to 3rd level
resolver groups when exceptions are identified.
- Participate IT project.
