**Accounts Receivable & Income Team Leader**
**Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid Working)**
**Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE**
**Hours: 35hrs per week**

**MAIN PURPOSE**:
- Responsible for production of sales invoices and verifying accuracy of information
- Processing the Sales Ledger transactions, including daily posting of receipts, ensuring targets are met
- Responsible for the collection of all outstanding debt within prescribed timescales and levels to maximise the organisation's cash flow
- Ensuring the sales ledger is accurate and up to date
- Managing the month-end processes required for production of the Management Accounts, including occupancy reconciliations and accrued and deferred income journals.
- Fully manage and provide training and full support on the Invoicing management system (Homecare)
**MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Participate in regular support and supervision from line management
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and expertise, attending and participating in learning and development events, meetings, conferences, and events (as requested/approved by line management) to ensure up to date knowledge relevant to the role
- Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- The post holder will be expected, at all times, to be familiar and comply with the written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice, issued by Brainkind
- Ensure the Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Take personal responsibility for own health and safety and report incidents and potential hazards as necessary
**ABOUT YOU**:
You will have:
- GCSE level of education in English and maths or equivalent.
- +2 years working in a similar level role.
- Experience of producing month end reports for Management Accounts purposes
- Proven working knowledge and experience of sales ledger, Reconciliations and credit control
- Experience of managing staff
- Experience of raising invoices
- Experience of producing month end reports for Management Accounts purposes
- IT skills relating to specific IT systems - Financial systems and other department systems
- Ability to cope under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
