**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**ACCOUNTS CLERK AND GENERAL ADMINISTRATION**

This role requires good organisation skills, SAGE 50 accountancy skills and the ability to work in a team. Previous office experience will be favoured, particularly working in a small office environment.

Your main responsibility is working on our computer program, SAGE 50, managing the accounts of our customers, ensuring our accounts reconcile, making payment runs along with producing quarterly VAT returns and Year End Reports. Also, a key task will be supporting Sales Representatives in producing customer quotes and any related administration. Other tasks include filling paperwork; contacting customers; liaising with suppliers; taking customer orders. You will not be limited to working at a desk. As we are a small independent company, you could be required to occasionally deal with customers face to face, take receipt of deliveries and pick customer orders.

Necessary skills:

- Adept with SAGE 50 Accounts
- Ability to work in a small team
- Numeric and problem-solving skill
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Be over 21 and hold a valid UK driver license
- Ability to work under pressure

Hours:
Full time - 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday

8am - 3pm Friday

20 days holiday per annum

**Salary**: £25,600 per annum.

Pay: £25,600.00 per year
