**Role Summary**:
As part of the continuous improvement efforts to enhance how Advanced Structures Supply Chain UK supports the Value Streams, we have created an exciting new role.

As the Senior Value Stream Supply Chain Lead you will be working to embed this new role and ensure that the Supply Chain operation is shaped and designed to best support the needs of the Value Stream, whilst also aligning with the needs of the wider business.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Be the Senior representative of the Supply Chain team within the Value Stream
- Lead, guide and mentor a team consisting of Operational, Engineering and Quality aligned Focals.
- Interpret the needs of the Value Stream both operationally and strategically for the present and the future, as well as influence supplier strategies and build plans to influence and drive alignment.
- Support the focals in the efficient resolution of escalations (E3 + E4) arising from the value stream via Tier reviews.
- Work alongside the Commodity teams to discuss, review and implement strategy, taking the needs of the business into account.
- Be involved with and lead continuous improvement exercises.
- Present at an executive level regularly both improvement activities and issue status.
- Support monthly SIOP reviews and interface with the current SC commodity lead team to manage critical suppliers. Via the account reviews, visiting suppliers where applicable and represent Collins, acting as the voice of the customer (value stream).
- Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and to deliver resolution to complex supplier issues and drive systemic lessons learned
- Work closely with the focals and project co-ordinator to provide reports on Programme status (NPI, OE, indirect and Transfers).
- Develop leading KPI metrics in accordance with the SC strategy, whilst remaining compliant at all times.
- Assist the project co-ordinator in identifying the digital tools required to support the needs of both SC and the VS.
- Be accountable for facilitating the resolution of problems with internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**:
**Essential**:

- Previous experience of leading a team within a Supply Chain and / or Operational environment
- Have an adaptable approach and be focussed on results
- Experience of managing complex relationships with customer or suppliers
- Dynamic leadership skills

**Desirable**:

- Strong Communication skills at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Drive and enthusiasm with a positive outlook and a desire to succeed
- A proactive, positive approach, and enjoy working part of diverse and dynamic team
- Enjoy building strong stakeholders relationships with Internal and external customers

- Aerospace experience
- Experience of working with SAP / MRP
- Continuous Improvement (CORE) problem solving background
