Teaching Assistant in a secondary school in Milton Keynes

**Duties**:

- Assist the lead teacher in providing support and guidance to students
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students, focusing on their specific needs and goals
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and minimize disruptions
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and resources
- Assist in monitoring student progress and documenting observations

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to proofread and provide feedback on student assignments
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm demeanor
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the classroom environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: From £90.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton Keynes: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS (required)
