Able to follow a conversation or discussion through the medium of Welsh and English on a professional level and discuss general day to day topics in the field in order to present information and express opinions.

Able to understand standard written Welsh and English; both formal and informal.
Able to gather information from various sources such as letters, reports, articles through the medium of Welsh and English in order to fulfil the post.

**Writing - Higher Level**
Present written information confidently by letter, more detailed and technical report formats, and respond to written requests conveying information, ideas and opinion in Welsh and English (help is available to check the work).

**Purpose of Post.**
charges service and administrating the land charges registry and searches.
Receive fees, scan and digitise information and all other associated duties.
Make effective use of the systems used in accordance with the requirements of the Planning and Public
Protection Service.
Ensure the delivery of a high quality Service that is in line with the Council's corporate policies and strategies.
Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the centre of everything we do.

**Responsibility for Resources.. e.g. staff, finance, equipment**
Finance - Process fees received by the Service in accordance with the authority's financial guidelines and
the Service's work arrangements.
Equipment - Responsibility for personal equipment and specialist equipment associated with technical tasks.

**Main Duties**
notifications, implement and administrate the land searches and land charges registry and the common
land register.
Receive and deal with service fees.
Process funds received by the Service in accordance with the authority's guidelines.
Input information in the service's computer systems and process information as needed along with
scanning, plotting and registering.
Coordinate, harmonize and respond to land charges enquiries.
Undertake research work and gather information on the requirements of the Service and external bodies.
Offer initial advice to service users on planning, public protection and land charges matters.
