With no prior legal knowledge required, we are looking for people who are committed to helping consumers and legal service providers resolve complaints. This is an exceptional opportunity to put your career on the most fascinating path.

**Why join the Legal Ombudsman?**

The benefits include flexible working hours on a hybrid basis, plenty of autonomy with the ability to manage your own diary and further internal career development opportunities once you are settled in. With a full induction training programme and in the role training, this will give you all the right knowledge to succeed in the role. Understanding the complexities of each case, you will look for resolutions where suitable, and make recommendations on next steps. With the support of a Team Leader and your peers you will manage your caseloads. Reviewing evidence from each party, you will document your reasoning to explain how you have come to your conclusions, and you will refer cases to the Ombudsman where an informal agreement has not been reached.
