Key Account Manager

Our highly successful client are looking for an Account Manager to join them, in a newly created role due to expansion and growth. The Account Manager will work on sports and casual accessories, footwear and clothing, working with various key brands.
Due to the nature of the business and working for brands, the Account Manager will present to clients what they can create for them, as opposed to presenting and selling a readymade product.
The Account Manager will take on dozens of existing accounts, but business development is expected.
The responsibilities of the Account Manager will include:
- Presenting to customers with propositions with a clear focus on optimising opportunities
- Working closely with the UK based design team and overseas factories
- Reporting on market dynamics, trends and competitor activities
- Negotiating costings to achieve the best margins
- Monitoring the critical path and provide regular updates to the customers
- Forecasting weekly, monthly and annually
The Account Manager will demonstrate previous experience growing accounts, have exceptional communication skills and have a given drive and hunger.
The Account Manager must also have experience working with brands.
