The primary focus of this role will be to generate new consultancy revenues from our existing clients, other leads will be produced by central marketing and self-generated prospects.

**Client Details**

An independent economic research business based in London. The company produces written pieces of economic research as well as offering consultancy services, seminars, conferences and commissioned research projects

**Description**
- Identify leads from sources such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, company websites, news articles, and (post-COVID-19) trade shows and exhibitions.
- Mine the CRM database (Salesforce) to prioritise and segment existing subscribers and leads for central marketing campaigns and consultancy revenues.
- Maintain a sales pipeline within our CRM (Salesforce).
- Work closely with the Economists within the Consultancy team on pitches, tenders and proposals.
- Contract negotiation
- Provide account management to new and existing consultancy clients.

**Profile**
- You will have had success, over several years, in generating new business in a relevant B2B environment, preferably an economics consultancy, management consultancy or similar professional services.
- Strong communication skills are essential and you must be comfortable dealing with senior level people. You will need patience and the ability to develop long-term relationships, as well as having an astute commercial eye for more immediate opportunities.
- Strong team player who can show commitment to a wider organisation working together and adding value to achieve success. You will need to have an interest in economics, business and current affairs, and be able to hold a constructive conversation with peoplewho are more expert in these topics.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to succeed.
- Strong impact and influencing skills
- Organised with the proven ability to generate leads.
- Fully IT literate with demonstrable experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
- Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices.
