Electrical Technician required by well-established electrical and mechanical facilities management company based in Sheffield. Salary £33,770 plus on-call payment and overtime.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Electrical Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for providing planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites & sectors in the Yorkshireand Midlands area.
This will include assets such as lighting systems, electrical distribution boards & associated circuits, fire & intruder alarm systems, pumps, motors and associated control systems, building management systems, PAT testing, HVAC and EV systems.
Key Responsibilities:

- Fault finding and repairs of electrical equipment and systems
- Alterations and installations in accordance with specification and legislation
- Compilation of quotes for installation and repairs works; specifically outlining the quantities of materials and labour times required
- Identify non-repairable issues and promptly advise the contract manager of findings and recommendations
- Respond promptly and positively to reactive call requests from our Helpdesk Team
- Provide on-call service as part of a call-out rota
Personal Specification:

- NVQ Level 3; AM2; City & Guilds 2391; Full Driving Licence
- Previous experience as an electrical maintenance and installation technician
- Ability to maintain and repair a range of electrical systems and equipment to recognised standards whilst working with minimum supervision
- Ability to use own initiative, working accurately with policies and procedures
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
- PC literate and good written and verbal communication skills with a customer focus
