**Junior Security System Administrator**
**We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Security System Administrator to join our growing Delivery function. Situated within our Infrastructure Services team, this role will focus on analysing and responding to Oracle and SAP security vulnerabilities, whilst giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge around the wider security sphere in a rapidly growing organisation with an exciting international reach.**
**About the role**:
Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager, you will provide security support and assistance across our Infrastructure Services Security team, with a specific focus on Infrastructure AWS Services, Trend Micro, and Oracle technology.
This role is based in our Berkshire head office - a two-minute walk from Thatcham train station with free on-site parking and easy access to many nearby towns and cities.
**What you’ll be doing**:
No day is the same at Support Revolution, but you will find yourself getting involved in:
- Analysing and responding to Oracle and SAP security vulnerabilities
- Management and updates across Trend Deep Security
- Monitoring of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) relating to customer environments
- Managing AWS infrastructure for hosted clients of Support Revolution
**What we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this position, you will have had some exposure already to Trend Micro security, as well as supporting customers on security issues. As we support customers within an AWS environment, it would be preferable for you to have experience in this area. Core areas we are looking for are:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to have technical conversations
- Trend Micro security experience, with an understanding of CVEs and how to monitor these
- Knowledge and/or exposure to AWS infrastructure
- Knowledge and/or exposure to Oracle technology would be advantageous, as would experience with VPN setup
- Windows domain management and Linux sysadmin experience would also be beneficial, but not essential
