**SITE SUPERVISOR**

**GREAT YARMOUTH**

**TEMPORARY CONTRACT 6 - 9 MONTHS**

**C£15.50 p.h.**

**Twilight shift, Mon - Fri 14:00 - 22:00 hours**

Are you a Shift Supervisor, or perhaps a Team Leader, who thrives on working in a fast
- paced environment, looking for an interesting and rewarding interim role?

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor, from a manufacturing, food or production background to join our client at Great Yarmouth Harbour, who dry, store and export grain.

You will be a Shift Supervisor who is used to working to strict Health & Safety procedures, capable of managing and instructing a small team.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be given full training and support throughout.

**Key responsibilities Site Supervisor**:

- Health, Safety & Environmental compliance in line with ADM/Peel Ports site compliance requirements
- Managing shunters / craneage for shipping operations across site
- Managing direct reports under your control
- Managing Housekeeping and site GMP standards
- Co-ordinating shipping and Intake operations
- Stock level reporting
- Completion of effective shift handover communications
- Operation of ADM process systems, both weighbridge and lab functions
- Maintain a level of flexibility around shift working and weekend working in line with business demands

**Personal specification Site Supervisor**:

- Proven experience of leading small team
- Ability to learn quickly and understand processes
- FLT or bucket licence desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided
- Good understanding of H&S above a basic level
- PC literate (Microsoft Word and Excel), ability to pick up operation of dedicated ADM systems
- Agile and able to “think on your feet”
- Able to cope under pressure
- Self-managing and used to working in a fast-paced environment
