As the company continues to grow and develop new products, our Accounts team are looking to strengthen their important role within the operation, and we are recruiting additional personnel as a key part of that strategy.
**Duties**
- Process and maintain the purchase ledger.
- Review and verify invoices, expenses, and payment requests
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
- Aiding the Managing Director with processing payment runs by issuing weekly reports.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable
- Assist on-site accountant with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits
- Maintain an electronic record of all Supplier Invoices and receipts.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Proficient in using accounting software Sage 200 an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Analytical skills with the ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Answering the telephone and transferring to the appropriate department.
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,567.00 per year
