Band 8b Clinical Psychologist Brodie Ward & Mental Health Rehabilitation Service, Full time 37.5 hours per week

Brodie Ward & the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service are seeking to recruit a full time Clinical Psychologist to provide a high quality clinical psychology service. The post holder will work across both of the multidisciplinary teams, offering a variety of interventions for inpatient and community based service users. The Mental Health Rehabilitation Service assists individuals to access opportunities such as education, occupation and leisure and re-integration into the community. Brodie Ward is an inpatient Acquired brain Injury Unit which works with a range of neurological difficulties. Both services also work in partnership with other statutory and non-statutory organisations as well as with families and carers. As part of this varied role, the post holder will provide assessment (including cognitive assessment), psychological formulation and will offer both direct and indirect interventions. The post holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to the training and clinical supervision of other health professionals and to supervise clinical psychology trainees.
