**Office based with some flexibility to work from home.**

**Rural Planning Assistant - you will be joining a successful and growing business, providing efficient administrative office and project support in a rural planning consultancy.**

**Job Details**:

- £25K DOE.
- Monday to Friday - 37.5/week - 4 full days could be considered. Some flexibility with start and finish times, (core hours 9am - 4pm). Friday is essential.
- Auto - enrolment pension.

Key duties of the Rural Planning Assistantinclude:

- Carrying out conflict of interest checks
- Set up supplier lists
- Ensure insurances are in place for all suppliers and contractors
- Chasing quotes for projects
- Updating project trackers for small and large projects
- Keeping TOB on file
- Typing dictated correspondence
- Assistance with social media and website completion
- Invoicing, making payments, chasing outstanding invoices for payment debt
- Answering the office phone

**Rural Planning Assistant**:
The successful Rural Planning Assistant **MUST** have experience in a similar position and:

- Be a highly organised individual with the ability to take charge of office administration, processes and procedures.
- Be self-sufficient in the office environment.
- Have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask and pre-empt needs and come up with solutions.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up and help the team out wherever might be needed.
