**Position: Customer Service Advisor**

**Location: Glasgow**

We are looking for a hands-on Customer Service Advisor to help us provide excellent customer service to our customers and in-store colleagues. If you're a people person with excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you
- and post-sale queries, as well as provide expert advice on the products and tools they need for their project or job.

The Paint Shed has been selling paint for over 60 years. We’ve grown a great deal to become one of the UK’s fastest-growing trade paint retailers since opening our first stores in Edinburgh. The Paint Shed is part of the Brewers Group - the UK's largest independent paint merchant.

Both trade painters and DIY customers trust us to deliver the quality products and tools they want, quickly and affordably. We’re proud to offer an excellent service and a top range of products across our stores and online.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing sales and payments.
- Troubleshooting and working with in-store colleagues to resolve any order issues.
- Responding to and resolving customer complaints.
- Providing information about products or services.
- Performing administrative tasks as required.
- Checking product or service availability.
- Flexible and can-do attitude to change with the needs of the business.

**Experience required**

We are looking for a self-starter, who is enthusiastic and proactive, with real attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and writing skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in online customer service, in a retail/eCommerce environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Active listening skills.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**

Full-time/permanent. 37.5 hours per week.

**Schedule**

Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5 pm with occasional Saturday shifts, working on a rota system.

**Work location**

Parkhead Retail Park in Glasgow, G40 2UB. In person.
