- The post holder will provide both clinical and administrative support to the therapy staff within the team
- The post holder will show initiative, motivation and excellent organisational ability working closely with therapy staff to develop administrative support and systems for the therapy team
- The post-holder is flexible and innovative in their approach to work and provides cover for other Therapy assistants and instructors across the service in periods of leave or absences
- The post-holder will be expected, after appropriate training, to perform manual handling tasks
- They will be required to demonstrate time management & prioritisation skills
- They will be required to work with their team on service development and quality assurance projects
- The post holder may be asked to rotate between roles within cancer therapies.
- To participate in 7-day services rota where appropriate.

The Therapy Service at UCLH is a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking department where everyone is enthusiastic and passionate about providing high quality care to patients. Clinically the department is made up of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Support Staff, who are divided into small specialty therapy teams who join with similar specialties for education, training and service development. There are extensive opportunities for training through internal and external courses and staff are supported to showcase work at conferences.
