Process Lead - Yard Operations

Pontefract

Shifts - 6-2 2-10

Salary : £29,622.92 plus 20% shift allowance (£35,547.50)

My client is a global leader in supply chain solutions, specializing in pallet pooling services, serving many of the world's largest companies across a range of industries. As part of thier commitment to operational excellence, they are seeking a Process Lead to join our yard team in the plant in Pontefract.

As the Logistics Process Leader at CHEP UK, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics processes within the yard area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Optimization: Improve logistics processes to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of FLT drivers, providing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness Qualifications

**Experience**:

- FLT Driving (4.5t Clamp FLT’s)
- Logistics yard experience with high volume of vehicle movement
- Team leader experience
- ERP Experience
