**Head of Logistics**

We’re hiring a Head of Logistics for our GB Headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

This is a pivotal role in leading the transformation from a B2B business to delivering our D2C ambitions. We are looking for a transformational and compassionate leader who works well in a hands-on logistics team. A key part of the GB leadership team, you will need to be able to influence senior leaders across different areas of the business to drive performance and results.

**About the role**

In your new role as the Head of Logistics, you’ll lead the Miele GB logistics function and ensure service excellence through all channels.

You will need strong operational leadership skills across warehouse, transportation, logistics and stock. You will be working with the wider leadership team on further developing our approach to S&OP and forecast accuracy, be able to reduce complexity, cost and emissions in supply chain, whilst also leading and developing a team of 50 dedicated people.

A strong influencer and communicator, you will bring the team and key stakeholders along on the transformational journey and ensure that the ambitions for this area of the business is represented in all key business workstreams.

**What will you need to bring to the role...**
- An engaging, people-led leader who can work collaboratively with the entire GB logistics function, whilst prioritising their development and progression.
- Highly analytical and able to convert complex data into insights, understand complex forecasts and P&L complexities before translating them into a clear, actionable narrative
- An operational expert in logistics, including 3PL transportation, owned warehousing and product forecasting
- Have a clear passion and expertise in sustainability and process improvement in line with our Immer Besser philosophy.
