**HEAD OF CREDIT RISK PORTFOLIO**

**£125,000 + PENSION + BONUS**

**LONDON**

A very successful financial lending institution in the unsecured lending space is recruiting a new Head of in their credit risk department for all customer and portfolio analytics and strategy. The role will involve leading a team and help drive portfolioperformance.

**THE COMPANY**

This financial institution is based in London. They are a responsible lender with customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business model. They are a leading digital consumer finance provider in the UK year on year and continue to expand their servicesand products they offer their customers leading to constant growth of the business.

**THE ROLE**

The role is a Head of role leading their existing customer portfolio.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Responsibility for setting all customer management credit policies for each product line
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities to grow the portfolio
- Accountable for strategies and policies including affordability, authorisations, credit limit assignment, early intervention, and risk-based pricing
- Drive innovation and strategic capability within customer management
- Work closely with credit decisioning team on models and strategies
- Develop and mentor a technical team of analysts to build a centre of excellence for strategy and analysis

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience working on credit risk strategies
- Experience in Unsecured Lending
- Experience in the UK lending space is a MUST
- Some knowledge in SAS/SQL/Python
- Experience in leading a teaM/Function within credit risk
- A strong university degree in a numerate discipline

**SALARY AND BENEFITS**
- £125,000 base salary (some flex)
