STEM Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a **Buyer** for their client based in Fort William. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and will be based on site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Placing purchase orders, negotiating prices for materials and sourcing new products/suppliers to meet company requirements
- Executing end-to-end procurement processes including spend analysis, negotiation and contract award
- Ensuring supplies are available and meet the necessary business requirements, and are procured in the most cost-effective manner
- General supplier management and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Overseeing expediting
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across the business

**Skills required**:

- CIPS qualification desirable
- 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong IT skills including Excel

**Salary**:
Competitive - dependent on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
