**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PMO Support to join the MCMS team. The PMO Support Role will assist with the delivery of various international projects within a fast-paced working environment. As PMO Support, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of various tasks ensuring their completion according to the defined timeline.**

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in supporting change and will be a key champion of developing and implementing new/improved standards, processes, and working practices.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You will be involved in a range of work streams such as:

- Identifying and analysing problems to determine root causes;
- Developing and implementing solutions to identified problems;
- Working alongside stakeholders to communicate and resolve issues;
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of solutions;
- Staying up-to-date on the latest problem-solving techniques and best practices;
- Assisting the Project Lead in the planning, controlling, monitoring, driving, and reporting of new and existing projects for the client;
- Taking ownership of the client’s needs and pursuing effective client relationship management;
- Creating, managing, and disseminating documentation, e.g. standard operating procedures and workflows, while ensuring teams have the relevant guidance to execute a project;
- Providing project management & support to ensure the timely completion of actions, highlighting any delays or potential risks to the project;
- Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, collating feedback and input for the purpose of documentation creation;
- Promoting adherence to management standards and methodologies, and contributing to quality and change control processes;
- Assisting with the development and delivery of programme management training materials;
- Supporting the maintenance and accessibility of programme knowledge repositories;
- Reporting directly to the PMO Manager; and
- Assisting in any other project-related tasks.

As a member of our PMO team, it is imperative you have high standards to meet the client’s expectations and be open to constructive conversations with the client. Therefore, you will need to be approachable, with an open mind and be able to provide constructive feedback to your team when required.

You will be flexible in working both autonomously and in collaboration with colleagues to deliver projects. You will be able to think critically and provide reasoned, logical conclusions. You will provide clear communication to both the clients and your colleagues within MCMS.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher qualification in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in PMO or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
