**The role**

We’re now looking for a motivated Account Handler based from either our Huntingdon, London or Littlehampton office, to join us here at the Jensten Group. This is an exciting time to join our business as we continue to grow
- as well as other general Commercial & SME businesses. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

- Working on Renewals & New Business with the aim of maximising retentions & sales.
- Responsible for delivering great customer service and administering insurance policies.
- Strong customer service skills, communicating clearly and building relationships.
- Provide day-to-day service to meet client requests and requirements to retain existing allocated clients.
- Produce fact-finding documents or supporting documentation to assist the periodic customer review process.
- Identify additional opportunities for profitable growth by recognising client exposures and recommending cover enhancements.
- Negotiation of competitive terms with the product/service providers in order to satisfy client requirements.
- To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA

**About you**

As one of our Account Handlers, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:

- Insurance background
- especially in Commercial (ideally)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
- Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients (ideally)
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)
