**JOB TITLE**: Warehouse Assistant

**LOCATION**: Honiton

**SALARY**: £23,400 PA

**BENEFITS**:25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Up to 10% Bonus, Group life assurance, Generous Employee Discount, Discounted RAC Breakdown Cover, Wellbeing Service.

**HOURS**:Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 5:00pm

**THE ROLE**:The key focus of this role is to assist the Warehouse Manager with ensuring that the warehouse functions effectively.

**Key duties will include**:

- Assisting with the management of the warehouse operations
- Assisting with all aspects of the receipt, storage and preparation and despatch inventory in a timely and accurate manner
- Assisting with the conduct of regular stock checks & PI process (perpetual Inventory)
- Receiving/processing shipments
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
- Managing all stock intakes
- Moving stock into correct places within the warehouse
- Receiving and dispatching goods to contractors
- Use of handheld scanners for booking stock in and out
- Barcode label printing
- General admin duties, filing, copying, etc
- An in date Counterbalance forklift licence
- Experience loading and unloading lorries in a safe and efficient manner and be able to move and stack materials
- Driving licence and a satisfactory driving record required (Luton van driving experience an advantage)
- The ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail when working quickly
- Basic computer skills
