Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a market leading, global Manufacturing business on a Head of Continuous Improvement vacancy that will shape both the CI Strategy and the growth/development of the CI function moving forward.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be able to demonstrate a range of tools and techniques to influence strategy, delivery and development of others. Primarily, you will be utilising a range of CI Methodology, project and programme management to deliversignificant upcoming projects & cultural changes as well as the sites longer term vision.
Head of Continuous Improvement Duties and Responsibilities Include:

- Drive process optimisation and business management cross functionally
- Develop and implement a CI Strategy, working with relevant internal management teams utilising Lean & six sigma methodology
- Share knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks to deliver solutions
- Support the site in realising capacity potential to drive output through 2023 and beyond
- Lead and develop all CI activities in an attempt to improve performance.
- Plan and run Kaizen events regularly
- Define and deliver large capex projects and initiatives tied to annual strategic priorities
- Manage CI tasks, looking at any opportunities for CI initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Root cause analysis, Value stream mapping and more
- Ensure all employees have an understanding of SOP's, Quality standards and health and safety requirements
- Continue to drive operational excellence cross functionally using a range of tools & techniques to deliver key projects effectively in a timely manner
- Evidence of extensive project delivery, cultural change and site wide operational excellence within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and evidence of running Kaizen events and CI activities in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Dedicated to working to a high quality standard in line with internal and external customers and contacts
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering, manufacturing or business improvement field (preferred) or demonstrable hands on delivery
- Lean practitioner or 6 Sigma (Black Belt) is desirable
