Head of Fundraising

Inclusive Consulting is excited to be partnering with an international charity based in Wakefield during their search for an astute Head of Fundraising to join their team.
This role would suit a passionate person with a desire to help others, who can assist the organisation in its humanitarian aid mission through cultivating partnerships and spearheading the organisations fundraising efforts. You must have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and a sociable attitude as you will be running fundraising events and meeting charity supporters regularly.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will encourage and manage donations in all forms including corporate, individual giving, long term partnerships, and gifts & wills. You will also be managing a small team consisting of a fundraising officer and an administrator. You and your team will work to coordinate events, ensure they are of relevance, and continue to develop the network and professional relations of the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively to plan and deliver engagement and fundraising plans
- Research and identify new business opportunities
- Identify key decision makers and use strong negotiation skills to articulate the benefits of a partnership
- Develop project plans to support work programme activity that identifies key milestones and success
**Key Attributes**
- Educated to degree level
- Experience at a strategic level in a fundraising position
- Effective problem solving and professional judgement skills
- Project management and organisation skills
- Knowledge of the donor market and an eye for opportunities
