Yard Supervisor and Instructor

We are looking for someone who is bubbly, passionate about teaching children and enjoys working around horses. Part time role available with extra hours needed during school holiday periods.

**Duties**:

- Provide equestrian coaching and instruction to riders of all ages and skill levels
- Develop lesson plans and training programs tailored to individual rider needs
- Teach proper riding techniques, horsemanship skills, and safety practices
- Assist with horse care, including feeding, grooming, and stable maintenance
- Evaluate riders' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Taking Bookings, dealing with phone calls and general admin
- Lead childrens parties making children aware of health and safety, communicating with parents and managing timings.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and horses at all times
- Option to organise and run various events including ridden shows, dressage, agility.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in horse care and management
- Confident in handling horses
- Be confident dealing with IT systems
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to work as an individual and team
- Ideally be up to date with First aid
- Be reliable with good time keeping skills

No qualifications are necessary for this role but a keen attitude to learn and teach is essential. Training will be given when starting the role to ensure confidence and knowledge over a 2 week training period, first aid training will also be given in due course.

A normal working week will consist of 10.30-6.30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, 9-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. During school holidays all days' will be 9-5pm with optional extra hours available. Lunch breaks will be 1 hour during the day, times may vary.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
