**The role**: E-commerce Assistant

**Full time hours**: 8.15am to 17.15pm Mon to Fri (40 hours per week)

Overtime available

**The pay**: £22,600 - £24,000 - We are a living wage and living hours accredited employer.

**Location**: Thorp Arch, Wetherby, LS23 7BJ

We're looking for an energetic, digitally minded, technical thinker to look after Zixtel’s online eBay and Shopify stores. We have an exciting opportunity to look after all aspects of our busy B2B & B2C ecommerce website and eBay. The Ecommerce assistant will contribute to how the customer experiences our brand online through visual assets, product management and written content to drive acquisition and engagement.

You’ll be assisting in the day-to-day running of Zixtel’s ecommerce sites covering merchandising, listing new products and images, fixing glitches, running reports, posting on social media, and responding to customer enquiries. You’ll handle incoming messages and requests on our ecommerce platforms making sure we provide the best customer service possible.

**Responsibilities**

Product listings: uploading & maintaining product listings on our website and eBay.

Social media: Posting regularly on our social media channels.

Check competitor prices and descriptions and maintain a price structure.

Work towards overachieving targets as set by the Operations Manager.

**Skills & Qualifications**

A good level of maths and English with excellent standard of written & verbal communication.

Strong IT skills with a good understanding of ecommerce (eBay & Shopify etc), and social media.

Some knowledge and experience of ecommerce marketing

The ability to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.

Understanding of SEO.

Ability to problem solve and suggest solutions.

**Driving licence and own transport required due to location.**
