**Summary**

The Pre-Operations Co-ordinator will manage the operational labour coverage for the relevant department. They will ensure that the planning and issued overtime is analysed alongside available operational data such as load factors and destinations and will adjust resourcing accordingly. They will be responsible for ensuring Realtime and associated systems are utilised to their maximum potential and accurately maintained. They will own processes which support critical resourcing decisions such as shift changes, leave allocation, overtime requirements with a high priority on ensuring that control measures are in place to ensure an efficient level of service is delivered to our customers.

The Pre-Operations Co-ordinator will be expected to work closely with Planning, Recruitment, Training

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work in conjunction with the Resource Supervisors and Team Managers to accurately allocate resource requirements.
- Liaise with Planning, Recruitment, Training and HR to resolve and overcome staffing surplus/deficits to ensure suitable resource is available to deliver against expected requirements.
- Develop an understanding of SLA and contractual obligations in order to support resource management in Airside departments.
- Maintain and update the team allocations for the daily operation, amending sickness, leave or overtime in Kronos and other systems where applicable
- Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of labour coverage providing operationally deliverable resourcing within the agreed budget and adhering to the defined standards to ensure effective financial management of labour.
- Actively engage with operational managers and planners to refine and feedback issues and innovations to ensure contractual adherence and service excellence alongside effective financial and people management is delivered.
- Provide briefs to the Operational departments within an agreed format and frequency detailing coverage and highlighting any areas for concern in an appropriate time frame to enable corrective actions without compromising service to customers.
- Review skills, training and recruitment and ensure they are actively monitored and reflected in coverage to deliver to contractual SLA’s and provide effective future planning.
- Promote overtime and work with staff to fill any deficits

**Essential Requirements**
- Ability to articulate and positively promote the Swissport values and behaviours
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial planning and analysis
- Experience of managing large scale, complex staffing requirements RealTime
- Have a basic understanding of Working Time Directive
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge the way things are done, you will be required to question the efficiency of current processes in order to support improvement
- Support new initiatives, encouraging constructive feedback
- Ability to influence without authority and negotiate and influence positive outcomes
- Flexibility and time management, ability to manage conflicting, demanding requirements
- Integrity and honesty - the role will deal with commercially sensitive information
- Highly organised with excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent IT Skills including O365, Kronos, GS Planning & GS RealTime will be considered an advantage;
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees, other departments and stakeholders;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to short deadlines
- Ability to make effective decisions in challenging situations whilst being under pressure
