We have an exciting opportunity for a Reception Supervisor at Clayton Hotel City of London.

Clayton Hotel is ideally located for corporate customers who want to be close to the City of London and leisure guests visiting the many attractions that the city has to offer. The hotel has 212 bed rooms with approximately 120-seater restaurant and separate bar area which is located adjacent to Aldgate East Underground Station.

**Objective of the Role**

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager, the Reception Supervisor also plays a vital role in ensuring that the Reception Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver our Guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. As Reception Supervisor, you will help oversee the Front Office activities between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support the FOM & AFOM in the reception operational activities for the hotel ensuring first impressions count.
- Leading by example in excellent guest customer service and exceeding the guest expectations.
- Support the FOM & AFOM in their duties, occasionally deputise in their role as required.
- Playing an important role in the success of the reception team and helping with the running of the reception department.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a similar role within a medium-large sized hotel.
- Unrelenting focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
- A personal desire to be developed and to learn in your role.
- Ability to support the FOM & AFOM in the running of the reception department.

**Job Type / Category**

Permanent full time position, 40 hours a week.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience as a senior receptionist in hotels an advantage.
- Unrelenting focus on a great guest experience.
- A personal desire to be developed and to learn in your role.
- Ability to support the successful operations of the reception area and team.
- Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
