Purchases/Accounts Administrator

**About the Company**

**Your hours**:
Mon-Fri, 8:00am to 5pm with 30-minute lunch

**Your responsibilities**:

- Analysing drawings, bills of materials and other project documentation to estimate costs.
- Raising POs for raw materials and component parts
- Identification and assessment of new suppliers
- Expediting supplier deliveries and negotiating with suppliers to achieve improved lead times
- Resolution of any supply issues
- Negotiating pricing and other terms with suppliers to improve cost base and deliver savings
- Processing and maintenance of purchase ledger
- Preparation of weekly and monthly Supplier payment runs for authorisation
- Any other Ad-Hoc duties reasonably expected from time to time
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 5 or above. Must include English, Maths and Science
- Strong negotiating skills
- Well-motivated, competent and analytical
- Computer literate and keen to develop skills
- A team player with good communication skills, who works well under their own initiative
- Ability to produce accurate work in a timely manner
- Well-organised, positive and approachable
- Reliable, consistent and mature approach to work.
