The Black Country ICB are working with partners to improve the prevention and earlier diagnosis of cancer. This will be an exciting and challenging opportunity for 2 band 6 posts on a 12-month fixed term contract to work with our Primary Care professionals, especially GPs and their practice teams, to play a crucial role in early cancer diagnosis.

The post holder will engage with a range of Healthcare Professionals across the cancer pathway through our programme of Health Professional Engagement, to raise the profile of cancer, identify activities to improve uptake of bowel, breast and cervical screening and cancer outcomes which will address inequalities across the Black Country and make change happen at a local level.

This role will support, educate and influence primary care teams, health professionals and local health systems to improve cancer services in line with Macmillan and Cancer Research UK strategy.
