**Main duties & Responsibilities**:
Support the administration of the sales ledger system on SAP Hana ensuring accuracy in recording of cash and data entry

Assist with credit control, sending statements and liaising with customers to ensure payment is received in a timely fashion, and liaising with the Sales department regarding the release of blocked orders

Communicate with both internal and external contacts such as customers, suppliers, auditors and Intercompany

Formulate and maintain financial reports and ensure data is checked/reconciled

Assist with data entry on the Blackline Reconciliation system

Gather/maintain foreign exchange rates and movements

Raising and distributing recharge invoices to both Intercompany and External customers

Support operational departments in raising internal orders for capital expenditure items

Adopt behaviours that maintains own/colleagues’ safety and supports activities designed to improve KPI targets

**Desired skills**:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Good level of attention to detail

Excellent organisational/time management skills

Strong literacy/numeracy skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills, both with internal colleagues and external contacts

**Desired Personal Qualities**:
Self-motivated with a desire to learn

Self-driven

**Desired Qualifications**:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade 4-9 including Maths and English

A level Maths would be preferred

**Future prospects**:The company will endeavour to offer long term prospects upon successful completion of apprenticeship with potential opportunities to progress onto higher level qualifications
