Speech & Language Therapist - 37.5 hours per week, office hrs.
This post will be part of the Speech and Language Therapy team that provides therapy to patients on the Acute Stroke Ward, Early Supported Stroke Discharge Team and stroke community caseload. The department also runs a well-established award winning Dysphasia Support Scheme supported by a large group of volunteers for group and individual work.
The role will involve supporting the service to provide ongoing rehabilitation across a variety of settings, through face to face contacts as well using telemedicine.
You will be joining a friendly medical and multidisciplinary specialty team including physio, OT, dietitians, psychology and rehabilitation assistants.
You will be well supported and fully supervised within this role with opportunities for peer support.
