**Apprenticeship Job Title: Accounts Apprentice**

**Apprenticeship Qualification: AAT Level 2**

**How does the Apprenticeship work?**

As an Apprentice, you will be employed, just like anyone else at the company, the difference is that you will be studying towards a qualification.

You’ll spend a minimum of 6 hours a week (of your total working hours) in a number of different Training, Learning & Development Activities that all develop your Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours in line with your Apprenticeship Qualification. These will include (for example) staff meetings, online courses, shadowing other team members, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from/with your line manager.

AAT Level 2 and Level 3 (industry recognised Qualifications) are delivered on a modular basis, via fortnightly Tutor led group workshops (live, virtual 6 hour sessions) and bi-monthly exams, taken at a local accredited / approved AAT testing centre (location to be confirmed). You will also complete study, assignments and coursework, and a blend of learning and development activities, all, within the workplace, and will be given ‘Protected Time’ each week to do this - so no homework This will all prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA) once you have completed all the learning required. Our head office is based at Bury - There are currently 22 employees based in Bury and the remaining staff is made up of nationwide field service engineers.

**About the Role**:
The role within the finance department will be to provide support to the growing team. You will take part in daily sales billing, posting of purchase invoices, credit control & debt recovery, account reconciliation. You will provide support with month end processing and any other general ad hoc administrative tasks.

**And Day to Day?. You will be Responsible for**:
