**Finance Assistant**

**Salary**: £26,000 per annum

**Location**: Hybrid - Chorley office x2 days, working from home x3 days

**Working hours**: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

**About the role**:
Working within a small team and reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with our largest supplier and managing their insurance claim process.

**What you will be doing**:

- Weekly reconciliation of TAPS and cruise line statements
- Weekly calculation of supplier payments and monitoring the bank account level.
- Monitor transactions going through TTNG bank and ensure you can identify them all
- Ensure weekly payments are autoloaded to TTNG Isell through Traverse automation.
- Manage and reconcile the TTNG credit cards so we can track 100% of credit card spend.
- Monthly calculation of commission invoice and statement preparation.
- Monthly TTNG passenger reconciliation and calculation of the insurance premium costs.

**What we need from you**:

- Proficient in Excel to a level with the ability to perform reconciliations on spreadsheets and make comparisons (lookups, sumifs etc)
- Good understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Strong attention to detail with commercial awareness.
- Ability to prioritise a challenging workload.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with a flexible approach.
- Experience in a finance role such as purchase leger or accounts assistant.
- Experience within the Travel industry desirable but not essential.
