**The role**

70% of our risks written each month and undertaking a detective data quality check by our external partners to identify errors and queries that have been entered our core management system Prequel.

A senior management position providing ownership and oversight of the end to end Data Quality Process including Strategic planning, Governance & Reporting, Process Improvement and Execution.

**Key accountabilities**

**Day to Day Management of the Data Quality Team as below in accordance of their specific roles and responsibilities**:

- Underwriting Data Quality Champion
- Policy Admin Data Quality Champion
- Data Quality Co-Ordinator
- Oversight of all daily activities
- Training, Motivating and coaching the data quality team, as listed below to ensure they provide an attentive and efficient service to our internal and external stakeholders
- Employee performance management, providing helpful feedback and Training opportunities
- Recruitment of new FTE's as and when required
- Following all internal governance for resource approval

**Stakeholder Management, initially, but not limited to Underwriting & Technical Operations**
- Co-ordination of data delivery to the functions in scope
- Workshops & Forums
- Working with the business to develop and implement appropriate metrics to track effective benefits, enabling benefits realisation.
- Executing, training and implementation of performance plans

**Governance & Reporting**
- Delivery of the monthly data to the associated boards and functions outside of current scope
- Associated Boards
- Internal Audit
- Legal
- Finance
- Assisting in Budget planning, forecasting, resources allocation

**Third Party Management**
- Management of our third-party supplier who is currently delivering the data quality checking
- Ensuring all SLA's and KPI's are adhered to
- Ownership of all regular Governance Meetings
- Monthly Performance Review
- Quarterly strategic Review
- Annual Contract Review
- Co-ordination and Execution of the Right for Proposal Process (RFP), should be required

**Process Re-Engineering**
- Recommending improvements, and evaluating the efficiency of changes made to existing business processes.
- Design and implementation of Data Quality Phase 2 technical and process solutions encompassing LOB/Skin requirements
- Project Mgmt, training, and deliverables of all changes

**Skills & experience**
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes and KPIs e.g. Pricing, Reserving and Underwriting practices
- A strong passion for Data Quality /Integrity and setting up processes to reflect this
- A practical understanding of Underwriting systems.
- Advanced Outlook and Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to master new concepts quickly and take initiative with own personal development.
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and externally across the Company.
- Must be able to self-lead and work effectively both independently and with teams.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage accurate thoughtful detail-oriented work within tight deadlines.
