Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, fun and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room and ensuring the well-being and development of the children in your care. This is a rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, a nurturing nature, and a passion for early childhood education.

Our setting is a small family run Nursery currently using the 'Curiosity Approach' throughout the nursery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged [3/5]
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and colleagues

**Experience**:

- Minimum [1] years of experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Level 3 Child care.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Sound knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Current first aid certification is preferred

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
