**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to support the marketing & communications activities of Exyte Hargreaves with a range of graphics and creative assets for internal and external campaigns. You will be responsible for bringing our brand to life visually across a diverse range of projects, whilst guarding the consistent expression of our brand identity.

**Role Purpose**

This role is an opportunity to work with a 150 year old brand that is rich in experience and track record, but also has a keen focus on modernisation and innovation.

The role is creative by nature and will be closely involved in brand development and campaign creative alongside an external brand management agency. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications you will be comfortable working with a range of traditional and digital design channels and delivering engaging content to meet the needs of a number of internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Strengthening and protecting the Exyte Hargreaves brand by coordinating consistent graphic assets across integrated campaigns
- Collaborating with colleagues around the business by brainstorming, interpreting, conceptualising and developing design materials from a written brief
- Building strong relationships with colleagues in all departments, advising and influencing them on graphic design ideas and content development
- Building and maintaining the image bank by coordinating original photography and sourcing images from stock libraries
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and requirements
- Conducting research into graphic design and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas into the business
- Liaising with partner organisations (such as agencies) to coordinate out-of-house tasks such as printing, brand management support and website support

**About You**

You will be an experienced Graphic Designer with either an in-house or agency background. with an extensive portfolio which showcases diverse creative projects. You’ll be naturally creative, willing to introduce new ideas and test their success as part of the marketing and communications mix. You’ll be enthusiastic and a confident communicator, able to engage your audience advise on design best practice with internal colleagues. You’ll be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite. Skills in motion graphics, animation, video editing and photography would be advantageous.
