**Outpatient Healthcare Assistant | Portsmouth | Part Time | Competitive Salary plus fantastic benefits**

Spire Portsmouth Hospital are looking for a PT Healthcare Assistant to join their dynamic and friendly team.

**Working Days/Hours - No set days - Shifts are 1pm-9pm and 8am-4pm Mon - Sat**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well being
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matter
- Develop own personal development.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others
- Contribute to the implementation of services
- Ensure own actions promote quality
- Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures

**Who we're looking for**
- Previous healthcare experience is essential, ideally in a hospital setting
- Awareness of health safety and infection control
- Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office
- English language to IELTS 7.0
- Passion for Customers

- Empathy for principles and importance of EO and dignity at work
