**Duties**:

- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks or challenges
- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project
- Research and source pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
- Utilize estimating software and tools to create comprehensive and professional bid proposals
- Present cost estimates to clients and participate in bid negotiations

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

This position requires a thorough understanding of the construction industry, including contract management and project management. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
