Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Puerto Rico or our Atkins Caribe office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preliminary electrical engineering design and/or review the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers, or drafters.
  • Prepare engineering reports, tender and construction drawings, and documents.
  • Develop wiring diagrams, single line and three-line diagrams, and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with field construction, commissioning, and vendor factory acceptance tests.
  • Interact effectively with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
  • Prepare cost and man-hour estimates, job budgets, and schedules.
  • Conduct or oversee personnel involved in engineering investigations and planning work.
  • May occasionally assist in the management of projects.
  • Technical writing, computer, and communications skills are required.
  • Microsoft Office and CAD skills are required.
