**The Role**

To support the Finance Manager as part of a small accounts team, entailing involvement with all aspects of a busy accounting department of our group of companies, where our core business is manufacturing and sales.

The role will include but not be limited to:

- Bank reconciliations - multi currency
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Payment processing - multi currency
- Credit control
- Payroll processing
- Managing customer and supplier ledgers - multi currency
- Processing purchase invoices - multi currency
- Processing credit cards and expenses
- Management reporting using excel and pivot tables

**Key skills Required**
- Proven experience within a similar accounting role.
- Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work.
- Superb communication and customer service skills with a helpful manner.
- IT literacy, with good/advanced excel skills.
- Accurate and timely data entry skills.
- High level of literacy and numeracy.
- Payroll experience desirable but not essential.
- SAPB1 experience desirable but not essential.
- AAT qualified/part qualified desirable.

**What will I receive in return?**

You’ll be working within an open plan office as part of a small approachable support team, where open communication and strong team work is at the heart. Full training and support will be provided for this accounting role to complement your existing accounting experience.

**Hours of Work**: Monday to Friday, 35.5 hours per week. You will finish at 3pm on Fridays.
