You will be happy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is detail driven and able to work autonomously and at pace, providing support to a highly skilled and passionate Technical team, as well as working with key Operational and Commercial partners.

Key to the development and maintenance of the total Quality Management System and with responsibility for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of all systems linked to Quality, Food Safety and Compliance.

**You are**:
✔Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant technical role

✔Qualified with a food science background; ideally level 3 food safety, and an internal auditor qualification

✔An excellent communicator

✔Able to show great organisational skills and time management

✔Someone with a good standard of written English and Numeracy

✔Able to generate and interpret statistical data

✔Able to work independently and as part of a team

✔Good at data entry, report writing (graphs & charts)

✔A team player that loves to work with others and work collaboratively

**You will**:

- Support with investigation and processing customer complaints and compile KPI reports to generate analytical data
- Generate and distribute KPI’s linked to site standards and supplier performance
- Maintain performance trackers for suppliers and work with Category Technical Managers to identify and address gaps
- Maintain all accreditation and visit schedules for suppliers, working closely with Category Technical Managers.
- Provide administrative support to the Technical team
- Support with the assessment of goods at the delivery stage and through the process
- Be responsible for the business document control system and oversee the review and update of all documents relevant to food safety and or quality
- Support the business with achievement and retention of externally awarded accreditations
- Conduct site QMS audits
- Gain exposure to all functions of the technical department
- Interacting with other relevant departments
- Support with raising awareness and understanding of food industry best practice
- Work with key stakeholders to further develop an outstanding food safety and quality culture across the business
- Be an integral member of the Technical Team, supporting the wider Technical, Commercial and Operational teams to deliver their objectives
