**About the role**

Digital and IT is a shared service between Kingston and Sutton councils providing digital and technology services to both councils as well as a number of arm's length companies.

Both councils are undertaking a significant transformation oftheir services. We are therefore looking to recruit vibrant, talented people who would be excited to help us continue to achieve and maintain high performance standards and get involved in supporting user-centred, modern digital support services across twocouncils.
**Within this Team you will**:
Report to the Application Lead for the SHP Housing Application Support Team, which is part of the Digital Technology Team within the Shared Digital & IT Service. You will provide support to Sutton Housing Partnership providing critical support services to variousApplications.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Application Lead in managing and leading the daily activities and performance and development of a team of Application Analysts.
- Ensuring that requests and incidents are responded to within SLA and customers are given excellent customer service.
- Investigating, diagnosing and resolving system issues.
- Writing SQL queries, leading on system development and implementation of new and emerging functionality.

**About You**
To be successful in the role of Senior Application Analyst you will be able to demonstrate the following:
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Proven experience of supporting NEC (Northgate) Housing Systems, ideally from both front and backend perspectives
- An understanding of Business processes and practices relating to the provision of housing
- Strong Technical skills including the ability to write Oracle SQL and implement solutions
- Experience of managing interfaces and system integrations is essential.
- Experience of capturing business requirements and designing and developing forms and workflows

**DESIRABLE SKILLS**:

- Experience creating, configuring, and implementing NEC Housing system modules. In particular, Repairs, Contractor, Scheduler and Mobile business expertise using NEC
- Working knowledge of Unix and PL/ SQL
- Experience of Business Objects, ideally in conjunction with the NEC Housing database
- Previous exposure to Housing environments gained from working for or with Local Authority Housing, ALMO's or Housing Associations.
- Exposure to NEC (Northgate) Revs & Bens, understanding the integration between that system and the Housing system
