Overall, Purpose of Job
- To support Housing in the administration of the defects period for new developments ensuring effective defects management system that delivers a quality service to new tenants.
- To be part of a joint approach to ensure that new properties available are let efficiently and in accordance with the council’s allocations scheme and other set objectives.
- To analyse and report upon performance data relating to defects to identify areas for improvement.
- To be part of a service wide approach to improving defects performance
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a suitable qualification such as an NVQ in Customer Care Level 3 or similar.
- Have working knowledge of building defects, current legislation, and related technical practices.
- Experience of working in social housing and working with residents.
- Experience of working on discrete projects.
