**Is this Meeting and Events Coordinator role right for me?**

We’re looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals with a passion for hospitality. We embrace our core values of Diversity, Innovation and Generosity in everything we do, and we’re looking for originality, proactive thinking and understanding in our team members.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day efficient operation of the Meeting and Events Office, dealing with enquiries to maximise the revenue for the department by responding to all in-coming enquiries, writing proposals, meeting clients, converting bookings and co-ordinating all details relating to the events. Reports will need to be prepared, including financial reports.

You will:

- Deal with all sales enquiries within a proactive manner, and convert to confirmed bookings, to the agreed company core standards
- To grow and develop, existing customers through regular contact, meeting and greeting, follow up calls, etc.
- To ensure that all Meeting and Events organisers, and any VIP guests are met on arrival and departure, in order to ensure good customer relations and establish future business opportunities

- Ability to create a positive environment where change happens
- Ability to promote a teamwork culture
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy not only with regards to all information sent out
- Able to remain calm and deliver high standards under pressure
- Able to demonstrate a passion for customer service
