**Job summary**:
Following the successful expansion and recruitment of the Operational Performance Team, we are looking to recruit further. We have a number of exciting opportunities within the Operational Performance Team at UHB.

We are seeking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our expanding team working on various projects in order to meet Trust targets. Posts are permanent, working 37.5 hours per week and we are looking to expand the team footprint at our Solihull site.

We are looking for individuals who are fully committed to providing a high standard of work to support the needs of the team, colleagues, and the Trust, ensuring our patients receive the treatment they need as quickly as possible.

You will be passionate about service delivery and will want to make a difference. Success in this role will see you transfer your existing administration skills and develop your knowledge as your career with UHB grows. You will mirror our Trust values of being Kind, Connected and Bold.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The post holders will be expected to ensure the provision of accurate and high-quality information and to support the validation of data and patient pathways. This will involve the validation of patient pathways for outpatient and inpatient waits, cancelled operations, emergency department waits, diagnostic waits and contacting patients on our waiting lists.

Applicants must have good communication skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team and have a friendly, approachable manner as they will be liaising with Operational staff across the Trust and at times speaking to patients via telephone.

Post holders will be required to work across all hospital sites when required to support service delivery.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C)
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience working in an acute Trust
- Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft systems i.e. Office, Excel, Word.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience of RTT validation
- In depth understanding of patient pathways
- Good knowledge of NHS IT systems
- Knowledge of Operational targets
