**Product Manager**

Modis are currently working in partnership with a market leading service provider to recruit a Product Manager with knowledge of networking and security products. This is an exciting opportunity to joining a leading business working with cutting edge technologies.

**This role is fully homebased with a competitive salary and benefits package.**

**The Role**

As a Product Manager you will manage strategic and business decisions related to product or product group creation, development, positioning and marketing.

**The Responsibilities**
- Shape the portfolio and manage the lifecycle of products, either through capability in-house, or through leveraging the partner ecosystem to respond to emerging technologies.
- You will define the service roadmap for the product and must consider the evolution and journey of the product sets currently within the portfolio, aligned to the market and customer driven decisions. You will develop business cases, business plans, productdefinitions and specifications, product launch and life cycle management activities.
- Monitor problem areas, defining or approving planned product enhancements, participating in quality assessment and improvement processes.
- Work closely with not only the Development team, but all areas of the organisation with the aim of introducing modernised features and functions to create differentiation in driving demonstrable value into clients by gathering marketplace requirements andsetting direction for future product evolution.
- Working with teams across the service and solution lifecycle such as sales and pre-sales; design, provisioning, operations and business support functions.

**The Requirements**
- Ideally you will have knowledge of connectivity solutions including networking and security.
- Experience of managing multiple iterations of products.
- Knowledge of Cisco products would be highly desirable.
